Online consumers don't have much patience for security controls
that slow or complicate their purchases, even though a third don't
trust existing online security to keep them safe.
A new report from Oracle has found that a third of online
consumers don't trust existing online security to keep them safe.
While two-thirds of UK online consumers want more security on
websites where they shop, about 30% said they'd go to a retailer's
competitor if additional security meant it would take more time to
conduct a transaction or add to the complexity. Time is clearly a
priority for online shoppers, as 48% said the main reason for
aborting a transaction is that it took too long.
Ukash provides online consumers with the opportunity to shop,
pay and play online, securely and privately, using cash and can be
used on thousands of websites throughout the world.
