20/05/09 - Online consumers are looking for alternative payment methods.

[63185]

A new YouGov poll has found that 83% of respondents believe that the number of people trying to commit online fraud is growing and recent Ukash research showed that one in five internet shoppers aren't sure if they have been the victim of online fraud.

Providing a safe, convenient and financially anonymous method for people to shop online using cash is clearly important in protecting people from online fraud and giving people the opportunity to enjoy Internet shopping. We are calling on more retailers to accept alternative payment methods and let the hundreds of thousands of customers who want to shop safely online do so by using cash.
