20/05/10 - Ukash vouchers now available on Caixa Galicia Activa

Ukash, the world's largest prepaid cash-issuing estate, and its partner Telepay, have teamed up to launch an innovative new service which allows consumers to access Ukash online anytime using the Active online banking service from Caixa Galicia.

This new service is being launched in Spain as 80% of internet users* there frequently use online banking and will provide consumers with an easy and convenient way for them to access Ukash 24/7. It is expected that this will result in a rise in Ukash's popularity with Spanish consumers as it means that they can now make safe, anonymous online payments anytime of the day or night.

There is a simple five step process for consumers to follow:
1. Customers using the Caixa Galicia Activa internet banking service login as normal
2. They then select the prepaid products (compra de cupones) option on the main menu
3. From here they order a Ukash voucher in any value from 10.00€ - 700.00€
4. They confirm the payment using their security device
5. The Ukash PIN is shown on the screen instantly

Ukash, which has more than 420,000 points of purchase in 32 countries and six continents worldwide, has been working with Telepay to provide a range of ways to get Ukash in Spain including online, from ATMs, local shops and telephone kiosks.
