Ukash launches in France with Central Telecom Tonéo card

In partnership with Central Telecom, Ukash has launched in
France, making online shopping and entertainment available to all
online French consumers.
Ukash, Europe's fastest growing solution for online cash
payments, is now available in France through Central Telecom's
popular pre-paid Tonéo card - sold in thousands of locations
nationwide.
Millions of potential customers in France can now get Ukash
vouchers with pre-paid Tonéo cards, which can currently be
found at more than 15,000 points of sale across the country, a
number due to double in the coming months.
Once a Tonéo card is purchased, customers can get Ukash
vouchers online at www.toneo3.com or from Tonéo's call
centre -and receive an SMS text of the voucher number straight to
their mobile. Ukash vouchers are available in €5, €10 and
€40 increments.
Mark Chirnside, CEO of Ukash said: "The new agreement with
Central Telecom is another great example of our efforts to reach
out to the millions of customers worldwide who favour e-cash. We
are seeing a growth in international demand for Ukash as more and
more consumers are opting for a way to pay online using cash. This
is led by two factors. First, consumers who have been financially
excluded from on-line shopping in the past are demanding that they
have access to that market. Second, consumers who are digitally
nervous and don't want to reveal private details are looking for
alternative payments methods."

Tonéo, which was launched in 2005, is a popular product
of Central Telecom in the French market. Last year, Central Telecom
sold more than 1.5 million Tonéo cards.
Ukash's unique 19-digit cash vouchers are available from
thousands of convenient locations across Europe and South Africa.
Ukash vouchers can be redeemed on hundreds of lifestyle, shopping,
Voice over IP, social networking, virtual worlds and gaming
websites.
