Ukash has been awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise for the second successive year in the International Trade category by Her Majesty The Queen.

The prestigious award for outstanding achievement, which recognises UK businesses that have delivered substantial growth in overseas earnings and improved levels of commercial success globally, marks another year of continued expansion for Ukash.

Recent successes for the company, include expanding its reach in markets where Ukash was already available in Europe (including Belgium, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Spain, the Netherlands and Ukraine) as well as launching in Denmark. Beyond Europe the company has also expanded in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Argentina.

In the last five years, Ukash has expanded from 8 to 57 countries, and is now available at over 420,000 physical points of purchase across six continents.

Applicants need to demonstrate their commercial growth with figures detailing profitability, market share and performance. Winners are announced each year on 21 April, Her Majesty's birthday.
