Ukash has been awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise for the
second successive year in the International Trade category by Her
Majesty The Queen.
The prestigious award for outstanding achievement, which
recognises UK businesses that have delivered substantial growth in
overseas earnings and improved levels of commercial success
globally, marks another year of continued expansion for
Ukash.
Recent successes for the company, include expanding its reach in
markets where Ukash was already available in Europe (including
Belgium, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Spain, the Netherlands
and Ukraine) as well as launching in Denmark. Beyond Europe the
company has also expanded in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South
Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Argentina.

In the last five years, Ukash has expanded from 8 to 57
countries, and is now available at over 420,000 physical points of
purchase across six continents.
Ukash has reported 85% year-on-year growth in both 2010 and 2011
and projected growth for 2012 remains in excess of 70%. Customer
satisfaction is another indicator of Ukash's success, with 89% of
customers saying they would recommend Ukash.*
The Queen's Award for International Trade is
awarded annually, on the advice of the Prime Minister, who is
assisted by an Advisory Committee chaired by the Chief Executive of
United Kingdom Trade and Investment. Applicants need to
demonstrate their commercial growth with figures detailing
profitability, market share and performance. Winners are announced
each year on 21 April, Her Majesty's birthday.
