Going on Holiday? Don’t forget your Ukash!

A new Which? Money survey revealed that three quarters of its members know about prepaid cards, but only 3 per cent actually have one.

Prepaid cards are payment cards which are used in the same way as credit cards, but they are preloaded with money. With Ukash, customers can load money on to a Ukash voucher, free of charge, and pay, play and shop online with a unique 19-digit code.

One of the benefits of using Ukash is that the vouchers can be used from anywhere in the world to shop, pay and play online. Holidaymakers need not worry about card fraud or their financial details being revealed while they are away. Vouchers can be purchased with cash at home and while abroad can be used to make phone calls home on Skype or to play and shop online.

Taking Ukash vouchers on holiday to be spent online is also a great way for holidaymakers to budget their expenses and avoid overspending, especially for young travellers. And as many Ukash customers may plan holidays abroad, Ukash can be converted with the Ukash Convert Tool free of charge.
