If you’re thinking fondly of your favourite Polish goods which you just can’t buy in the UK, or you want to send a gift to friends or family back home without running up massive delivery costs, buying on the internet from Polish websites is quick and easy. But it can be difficult to pay for those goods if you haven’t yet organised a UK bank account or credit card.
So wouldn’t it be useful if you could just use cash? Well now you can.
A new partnership between AllPay and Ukash has made this possible. You can now load an AllPay wallet with Ukash cash vouchers, and spend it on your favourite site in zloty, sterling, euros or US dollars.
AllPay is a payment system accepted on thousands of Polish websites, offering everything from flowers to ‘phone calls, DVDs to music downloads.
Uniquely numbered Ukash vouchers are widely available through payment terminals in retail outlets, and online. Buying and using Ukash is incredibly simple. There are around 40,000 payment/purchase terminals in the UK, in newsagents, grocery stores, petrol forecourts and other convenient locations.
Ukash vouchers are proving to be really popular among Polish migrants who may not have local bank accounts and credit cards, or who may be concerned about online security. They still want to enjoy the benefits of the web, and the new link with AllPay will open up a massive selection of international websites providing a range of services from travel and dating to gifts and gaming.
There are no fees charged when you purchase Ukash, meaning you can use the full amount on your Ukash voucher to buy online. You can put anything up to £100/€150 on the voucher at a time, and can spend up to £500/€750 on a single transaction by combining vouchers. Each voucher has a unique 19 digit code on it which you enter when topping up your AllPay wallet. Your money is then immediately available to spend.
