Huge surge in global demand for VOIP

New research has found that 13% of all international calls last year, that's 54 billion calls, were made using Skype. The research, collected by telegeography, demonstrates the growing demand from consumers for Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) services as they look to make more and more global calls.

The ease, flexibility and low cost of internet telephony has made it incredibly popular with people of all ages all around the world. One of the great advantages of VOIP is that it is instant, and easy to access, and can be paid for using a range of payment options.

Ukash, which can be used to pay for Skype minutes as well as with a host of other VOIP providers, allows consumers to shop online using cash, simply by swapping their money for a Ukash voucher. Either getting a Ukash voucher in-store or online, it means that you can instantly makes calls over the internet and tap into this growing trend.
