London 25 June 2010: Ukash,
the world's fastest growing online-cash payments company, has
announced today that its e-cash vouchers are now available at 200
point of sale terminals, operated by epay, across New Zealand.
Following its successful launch in Australia last year, Ukash
has signed a deal with epay to allow customers in New Zealand to
get Ukash vouchers for the first time, which will be available from
convenience stores across the North and South islands.
Kiwi consumers can now get Ukash vouchers to shop, pay and play
online using cash, as the demand for spending safely on the
internet continues to rise. A paper voucher will be issued at point
of purchase with a code that is redeemable at any site where Ukash
is accepted. Ukash vouchers can be combined, split or converted; a
convenient way for consumers to shop online across websites from
different countries.
Paul Coxhill, Marketing Director, Ukash said: "Ukash enjoyed
substantial growth last year, which is continuing throughout 2010.
The Ukash offering has been very popular in Australia and we are
confident that consumers in New Zealand will also welcome our
launch, as the demand for using cash online and the benefit of
shopping safely and securely on the internet continues to
grow."
Ukash vouchers, which can be obtained at more than 420,000
physical locations globally, will be available to users in New
Zealand in values of $10, $20, $50, $100, $200 and $500. Consumers
can find their nearest outlet by visiting the New Zealand homepage
at www.ukash.com.
